Samaneh Gharehdaghi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1986. Intrigued by the art of painting since childhood, she began taking lessons at age 14, studying for 10 years with Asghar Mahmoodi who was a student of Iranian master realist Morteza Katouzian. Samaneh painted independently while pursuing her formal education. She received her masters in Environmental Design from the University of Tehran in 2012.
Samaneh has explored various media, working in oils, pastel, ink, colored pencil, and clay relief. In this show she exhibits oils on paper and rapidograph drawings.
